About Chieti Classica
The 4th edition of the International Music Festival Chieti Classica takes place in Chieti, Italy, from the 31st of July to the 13th of August 2021.
The event presents a unique format which includes masterclasses and concerts. Organisers of the project are the European Foundation for Support of Culture (EUFSC) and ArtEnsemble, supported by institutional partners like Sovrintendenza Archeologica Belle Arti e Paesaggio d'Abruzzo, Prefettura di Chieti, Comune di Chieti, Teatro Marrucino, Museo Universitario, Convitto Nazionale G. B. Vico and private partners such as Città della Musica, Ford Autostar and Chieti’s hotels facilities.
The festival involves masterclasses that take place every day in different locations around the city. These classes are held by world renowned professors. Regarding evening concerts, the organisers introduced an innovative process which selects the best students of the festival, who have the great opportunity to compete, in front of an audience, playing alongside some of the esteemed masterclasses teachers. All these events take place every day in the best and most prestigious venues of Chieti.
With students coming from Italy and from different countries around the world, Chieti will represent a landmark of excellence through its cultural and artistic heritage, hosting this festival for the 4th time.
With the support of the festival’s Artistic Director and President of ArtEnsemble Giuliano Mazzoccante, the EUFSC and its President Konstantik Ishkhanov are honoured to welcome this year’s edition with the purpose of giving life to another unique cultural project, to compare to greatest International festivals in Europe, Asia and the US.

Dear Friends,
It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to this latest edition of the Chieti Classica International Music Festival.
Chieti Classica was founded with a clear and enduring goal of celebrating the richness of classical music while fostering dialogue between generations, cultures, and artistic traditions. Set in a city of such remarkable historical and cultural import, this festival provides a unique space where young and emerging talents can meet, collaborate, and share their passion for music alongside some of the most acclaimed names in the classical music world.
Over the years, Chieti Classica has grown into an international platform that values artistic excellence, music education, and cultural exchange in equal measure. Through its concerts, masterclasses, and collaborative projects, the festival continues to support young musicians at crucial stages of their development, offering them the chance to engage in meaningful and memorable musical experiences.
I would like to extend my sincere thanks to our artistic leadership, faculty, performers, partners, and supporters, whose dedication and vision make this festival possible. Above all, however, I wish to thank the musicians and audiences who give Chieti Classica its true spirit and purpose.
I wish all of you who have joined us here an inspiring and rewarding festival, filled with creativity, discovery, and the joy that only our shared global heritage of music can bring.
